I've been a Fox and Jane NYC client for years so when I moved to NJ, I knew I had to try the Somerville location. Not only did Julia fix the pandemic haircut I gave myself (yikes!), she gave me the best curly cut that emphasized curl definition and volume. She later fixed my color, which made my curls pop even more. She's the only one I trust with my curls!

Casey always does an amazing job. I’ve been getting cut and color with her for around a year now. I always leave the salon feeling amazing! I loved the blue hair she did in the spring and it carried me through many concerts this summer. It always holds up so well! This time I went purple and can’t wait to style it for whatever is next. I 100% recommend this place to my friends.

Julia is professional, super friendly and so talented! It is always a great experience when I come to Fox and Jane. It’s a relaxing appointment and Julia always makes sure to ask me if I need anything and takes time to consult at the beginning of my appointment.

I can’t say enough about Fox & Jane and the friendly staff- especially Julia. I came to her a year ago with my naturally curly hair completely burnt out from years of heat styling. My curls are finally living their best life all thanks to Julia and I don’t think I’ll ever trust anyone else with them. She’s slayed my hair time and time again no matter what. The salon itself is great! Super cute, good music, and always clean. You definitely will not be disappointed.

Julia is great! She has been cutting and styling my hair for a year now, and I’ve always had great experiences. She’s super friendly, very knowledgeable about curly hair and products, and overall amazing at her job! Highly recommend Julia, especially if you have curly hair (or once did, but it’s now damaged from too much heat, coloring, etc.) - she will bring them back to life! See below for before and after pics of my first cut/style at Fox and Jane - it has only gotten curlier :)

Really great salon - comfortable ambiance and talented stylists who take their time on your hair. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Cece was awesome and knew exactly what to do with my hair to make it work. Will definitely be back!

Ever since I made my first appointment with Julia a few years ago with an unhappy balayage from another salon, she's worked her magic on my hair. The salon its self is clean and has a cozy feeling. along with all the staff who are friendly and welcoming. I now live about 30 minutes away, but I wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend this salon and especially Julia for your hair color needs.

The stylists really are artists. I feel incredibly comfortable with every stylist I have had and always feel beautiful when I leave. Do yourself a favor and book an appt. Cece was who I had most recently and loved her energy and trusted her expertise. This salon is lovely, affordable, and the sign up/check our process is always so easy. Such a great experience.
